Flat File Database

The Nip Shoppe Catnip Emporium needed a database. Customers should be able to view the available product line and create orders from a customer portal. Nip Shoppe staff should be able to update products, check on customer orders, communicate with vendors and manage inventory as well.

Henrietta DeGato, the IT manager, decided to go with a flat-file database with relational properties. She has broken down the steps involved so that anyone who is interested can follow her process and create their own flat-file database and DMBS.
